Innamortans Empty
PostSubject: Innamortans   Innamortans EmptyTue Apr 29, 2014 12:48 am

In my fanfic series, that is currently in it's early stages of production, my seven main characters of the series are a fanmade race called "Innamortans."

Here I will be explaining what exactly an Innamortan is.

Innamortans Empty
PostSubject: Re: Innamortans   Innamortans EmptyTue Apr 29, 2014 10:48 pm

Origin
Innamortans are from the planet Innamorta in the Chrelythiumn system (an actual system in SW canon). Innamorta and it's native species are only around 2,000 years old, but have evolved very quickly as an example of the progress rivalry and competition (a kind way of putting war) lead to, and by the point of my story are as technologically advanced as the rest of the Galaxy. Innamorta is a planet of fairly standard gravity and atmosphere. Something more bizarre about this planet is that it lacks a star, but experiences day and night cycles. Innamorta is actually separated from and unknown to the rest of the Galaxy at the beginning of my story (1998 ABY)

Biology

Innamortans are a near human race with some huge physiological advantages over most other species. Physically, they are immensely strong, your average Innamortan being around ten times as strong as your average Human. As such, Innamortan's muscles are highly efficient, being very proportionally strong, and producing little to no fatigue toxins. Innamortan skin is also very tough, being able to hold up against cuts, burning, and bruising. The Innamortan bone structure is also quite interesting. Innamortan bones are very durable, being reinforced by naturally occurring carbon fiber. Unlike Humans, the chest area of the skeleton is not a rib cage, but rather jointed plates of bone that more efficiently cover an Innamortan's vital organs, without reducing flexibility. The skeletal and muscular systems of an Innamortan are arranged to increase the overall efficiency of the body. With the strength of the Innamortan skin, musculature, and bone structure, Innamortans are capable of taking immense amounts of damage, and it would take something on the destructive caliber of a rocket launcher to one shot an unarmored Innamortan adult. The cellular regeneration of Innamortans is highly advanced as well, which is part of the Innamortan body's ability to generate fetal stem cells in their bone marrow even after having left the womb. As such, Innamortans can make a quick recovery from most wounds with little to no scarring. To provide the rest of the body with proper nourishment, the Innamortan's body systems are also highly advanced, absorbing nutrients and other things the body needs much more efficiently than the Human body. The Innamortan circulatory system is also highly advanced, very efficiently spreading nutrients throughout the body, and regulating an Innamortan's blood temperature to almost fully compensate for any external temperature extremes. Additionally, the blood vessels of an Innamortan squeeze themselves shut upon injury to prevent excessive bleeding. Innamortans are also immune to all disease, most harmful drugs (with the exception of recreational drugs), and most poisons (with the exception of force imbued poisons). Perhaps one of the more interesting things about Innamortan biology is that Innamortan's don't degenerate with age, and stop biologically aging once they have reached their physical prime, which is around twenty five. Essentially, Innamortans cannot die of age, however this doesn't make too much of a difference considering the fact that most Innamortan's die in war before even reaching their seventies.

Different Innamortan Races
As you have probably guesses already, the Innamortans are a race of warriors. As such they have been at war with eachother since the dawn of their species. Each subrace of Innamortans represents their own distinct element of war.

Crystalyx: An Innamortan sub-race that does not actually have a natural talent in war, and instead typically perform labor and services for the other Innamortan races. To better perform these tasks of hard labor, Crystalyx boast superior physical strength to the other Innamortan races. The blood of a Crystalyx is green.

Bladewrath: An Innamortan sub-race that has a natural penchant for bladed combat, and members of this species typically favor swords as their weapons. To better wield their chosen weapons, Bladewrath possess greater strength and control in their wrists as well as their hands. The blood of a Bladewrath is grey.

Blastidonez: An Innamortan sub-race that has a natural penchant for ranged combat, and members of this species typically favor blasters as their weapons. To better wield their chosen weapons, Blastidons possess steady hands and highly advanced eyesight. The blood of a Blastidon is blue.

Spearton: An Innamortan sub-race that has a natural penchant for pole arm combat, and members of this species typically favor spears as their weapons. To better wield their chosen weapons, Speartons possess greater upper body strength and balance. The blood of a Spearton is red.

Shadikill: An Innamortan sub-race that has a natural penchant for adaptability in combat, and members of this species typically favor a variety of weapons and tactics to one single specialization. To better wield adapt to the needs of war, Shadikill boast heightened reflexes and logical minds. The blood of a Shadikill is black.

Lightor: An Innamortan sub-race that has a natural penchant for knowledge and technology, and members of this species typically utilize advanced technology and intellect in combat. To better think and develop new technologies, the Lightor brain and nervous system is highly advanced. The blood of a Lightor is yellow.

History
In the beginning, each Innamortan race formed its own kingdom. These kingdoms quickly erupted into war as the nations fell into conflict to establish their dominance and the superiority of their chosen way of warfare. Appalled by the actions and violence embraced by the other Innamortan races, the Lightor developed something of a superiority complex, believing that peace and the pursuit of knowledge was the only righteous way to live. To spread their newfound beliefs and enforce their moral authority, the Lightor decided to jump into the fray and attempted to exterminate and subjugate the other races. Through studying the other races advancements and technologies, as well as reproducing like crazy, the Lightor were able to get a definitive edge over the other races in the mad scramble for power. To combat the growing threat of the Lightor, the other Innamortan races formed an alliance by signing a treaty proposed by the mighty Shadkill warrior known as Mogar. To oversee the Alliance, a council was formed, with Mogar serving as the first Head of the Council, and his descendants serving as the subsequent Heads of the Council. Over time the war continued, and new technologies were developed. Fifteen hundred years later, the current Head of the Council is Mogarius, and the current Shadikill monarch is Queen Suzanne, with their son Dylan destined to inherit both his mother’s throne and his father’s seat on the Council, effectively destining him to become the most politically powerful Innamortan on the history of the planet. The current Lightor monarch is King Barrus, with his son, Arthur, destined to one day inherit his throne and lead his people into a new era of technology. With tensions rising, the war reaching an all time peak, and the rest of the Galaxy on the verge of discovering Innamorta, the Innamortans will soon take their first step into a much larger world.
