Character profile: The Sith Council

The Sith Council is the 2nd highest ranking body of the empire, with only ten members making the cut.  Comprised of the most powerful sith masters in the galaxy, they are the ones mainly trusted with keeping the Empire running, whether it be politically or in warfare.

Darth Maladius (Sphere of Biotic Science):  Darth Maladius is a seemingly regular human, using the force to conceal her mottled features.  As head of the Sphere of Biotic Science, she has founded new alchemical formulations to bolster the effectiveness of the Empire's soldiers.  While she is the newest member of the council, no one questions her depth of power.

Darth Deogol (Sphere of Imperial Intelligence):  Darth Deogol, by far the most cunning of the Dark Council, is a fairly secluded individual.  Studying the weaknesses of the New Republic through his elite group of spies, Deogol uses this information as leverage to gain more authority in the Empire.  Rumors have spread that Deogol himself is a spy, merely a puppet used by another Sith Councillor, or perhaps even the Emperor.  As a sith pureblood, he believes himself as an example of purity and perfection.

Darth Cathair (Sphere of Military Offense):  Darth Cathair is easily the most aggressive Kaleesh in the galaxy.  Always looking for an opponent to defeat, he hasn't yet found a warrior equal to him.  As the de facto leader of the Empire's military, Cathair has led on the battlefield and in space many times, always participating in the most crucial victories.  Growing bold, he muses that he could challenge the Jedi Order's Grandmaster in single combat.


Darth Ebba (Sphere of Military Strategy):  Darth Ebba, a once vibrant woman, has resorted to using cybernetics to bolster her power and effectiveness.  A powerful political figure, Ebba severely hates the lies and schemes associated with her position.  The tactician behind Darth Cathair's battles, she has always been seen as the brains of the Imperial Military.


Darth Yumn (Sphere of Production and Logistics):  Darth Yumn is a pragmatic sith pureblood who always finds himself looking for improved efficiency and using the odds to his advantage.  One of the more successful Sith Councillors, Yumn has had an impressive tenure of ten years serving the Emperor.  Despite his position, Yumn is one of the most powerful lords residing on the Council, possessing sith powers unknown to all sans the Emperor himself.

Darth Kerri (Sphere of Mysteries):  Always hungry to learn new secrets regarding the sith, Darth Kerri and her ideals have stood strong in the machinations of the Sith Council.  Incredibly strong in the force, other Sith Councillors have challenged Kerri, yet none survived.  Yet she will always be known for the mask she wears; no other being on the Sith Council or elsewhere have gazed upon her true face.

Darth Schadrach (Sphere of Ancient Knowledge): As master of ancient knowledge, Darth Schadrach is the wisest and eldest of all the sith on the Council.  An absolute master of the dark arts, Schadrach has conducted many rituals to bolster his power immensely.  many on the Sith Council go to him to gain a piece of his knowledge...something he uses as political leverage.

Darth Tallis (Sphere of Sith Philosophy):  A staunch traditionalist and stern mind, Darth Tallis has shown himself to be a true sith, in purity and belief alike.  Serving as the greatest test for students in the sith academy, he makes sure that all in the Empire stay true to the sith ideals.  Through an ancient and powerful ritual, Tallis forges a mental link with all academy students, so he can know their true loyalty.

Darth Vladik (Sphere of Expansion and Diplomacy):  The most charismatic being on the council, Darth Vladik is an incredibly calm human, quickly calculating his options and their outcomes throughout almost every decision he makes.  This way of working isn't unprecedented, considering the cutthroat politics of the Sith Empire.  As powerful as he is charming, Vladik is the greatest in the Empire at settling contentious disputes.

Darth Euridice (Sphere of Laws and Justice):  Darth Euridice, a capable politician in her own right, mostly tries to steer clear of the scheming associated with the Sith Council.  Very forthright and fair, Euridice uses her unnatural ability of discernment to reveal the enemies of the Empire.  Unfortunately, she has drawn attention from other Sith councillors due to her just ideals being almost jedi-like.  This does not, however, stop Euridice from carrying out her will.

Darth Maladius... and so the overuse of the root "mal" in Sith names lives on...
